    Norwich Walktober 2015! “Thames River Estuary – Norwich Harbor Study”

    Take a short cruise aboard Project Oceanology’s Research Vessel, Enviro-Lab, to explore Norwich Harbor and the Thames River Estuary with Seth Yarish, Norwich Free Academy’s Marine Science Teacher, his students and Project Oceanology’s marine scientists. Participants will learn how they are connected to watershed by conducting water quality tests, using scientific equipment and examining living specimens. Learn first hand about some of the issues facing the harbor. Dress appropriately. No children under 6 years. You will need to climb a short series of steps to board the boat. The Enviro-Lab is a Coast Guard certified passenger-carrying vessel. Limit 25 adults with accompanying children (optional). Registration required. Admission $10 per person, $5 children under 10 years old, $25 family of four. Only cash or checks accepted.
